(Halifax, NS) – Alert The Medic have released the third single from their latest album, We, the weapon. “The Weatherman Pt. 2” was launched to national radio and the music video can be viewed on their youtube site – www.youtube.com/alertthemedic.
The video offers a glimpse into the powerful lyrics and compelling rhythms presented in “The Weatherman Pt. 2”. Those familiar with Alert The Medic’s 2006 Self-titled album are brought back, with haunting familiarity, to part one of the continuing story.
The project was filmed, directed and edited by photographer and filmmaker Thomas Cantley. Mr. Cantley has been making his presence known in the Halifax arts community since his unexpected relocation back to Nova Scotia from New York. He is currently working on a documentary film,“Ballsy Journey”, which chronicles his own personal battle with testicular cancer. The film investigates and examines testicular cancer’s growing potency and prevalence in men between the ages of 15-40 years old - www.ballsyjourney.com. Alert The Medic were thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and insightful individual.
