4. Slowcoaster Rocks the Disco!
Do you hang out in the Darkest of Discos? In the January 13, 2010 BDS/Billboard Artist Confidential, newsletter, Paul Tuch chose Slowcoaster for the Artist Spotlight "Slowcoaster Rocks the Disco!" Below is an excerpt, in case you didn't see it yet:
"The Darkest of Discos," the title cut from the just-released album by Slowcoaster, debuts at No. 46 on the Canada Rock Chart and is bubbling under the Canadian Emerging Artist Chart...Their New Album, "The Darkest of Discos" has been released and is distributed by Fontana North. The Single has picked up a number of early followers, including CHKY and CFRQ Halifax, CFXY Fredericton, CKLZ Kelowna, CHOZ St. John's and ICEBERG. The band has recently toured Japan as well as Western Canada. They will be playing shows at the end of the month in Halifax, Sydney & Truro."
